Dennis Johnson is our founder and company CEO. Dennis brings a diverse background including over 15 years of senior executive leadership experience. Dennis serviced as CEO of Ho-Chunk Capital, a real estate development and investment company, based in the Midwest and was CFO of the parent company, Ho-Chunk, Inc. prior to leading Ho-Chunk Capital. During his tenure there, the company developed several ground-up projects which Dennis lead the design and development process including: master planned communities, new multi-family housing, new mixed use commercial buildings, self-storage facilities, redevelopment of over 200,00 SF of downtown buildings, and the construction of dozens of new single-family homes. Additionally, during his tenure the company started new businesses including a home builder and a project planning and construction management company.
Dennis is also a multi-unit franchise owner of Pizza Ranch/FunZone restaurants and has lead the design and development of those projects and is continuing to expand those operations in addition to developing other multi-family and self-storage projects.
Dennis has a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of South Dakota and a bachelor's degree in business with Accounting Major from the University of South Dakota. Dennis and his family reside at McCook Lake, SD but travel for business extensively through the Midwest. Dennis is an enrolled member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa (MN).
